Under One Sky Animal Rescue was founded by now retired tattoo artist and business owner, Heather Hlava (previously known as Heather Sinn). Her love of animals began at a very young age and has profoundly impacted her adult life. Almost 10 years in the making, UOSAR hopes to be an inspiration to animal lovers everywhere and other rescues alike.
Under One Sky is dedicated to the memory of her late brother Brian Sutherland. Before his tragic death in October 2014 Brian dedicated his life to his family and the many abandoned animals that had the good fortune to cross his path during his 44 years on this planet. Throughout his life Brian cared for more than 100 animals, all living happily in an open air enclosure on his modest property in Delton, Michigan. His cleverly fenced in enclosure was a huge inspiration to Heather, and his innovative ideas will be utilized at UOSAR. Ann Marie Wilson

Ann Marie Wilson is a certified LVN in the state of California. She is also a BIG time animal lover and has two awesome dogs that are family to her. When she is not working or playing with her pups Ann is volunteering with her church group in Mexico where they help underprivileged families get on their feet.

Lindsey Palmer
Lindsey Palmer is a computer software specialist and a lover of LIFE! When she is not travelling or surfing the waves in San Diego CA she is helping to feed the homeless, mentoring a teenager through big brothers and sisters or helping the elderly in her community to get groceries. The world needs more people like Lindsey!
